By renting with us, you agree to the following -
- Refunds
Please note that refunds are not available under any circumstances — including if the garment does not fit or if you change your mind.
- Damage
If a garment is returned in an unfixable condition and cannot be rented again, you will be charged the full retail price, and the damaged dress will be sent to you.
Do not wash the garment, even if it has marks.
If the dress requires repairs or additional cleaning, you will be charged a repair/cleaning fee to cover the
cost.
- Garment Care
Do not alter our Garments in any way. You may be liable for charges if we are required to restore this.
We reccomend using Bodi Bond Garmet Glue to hold your garment in place if needed. This is available on our webiste to add to any order.
Please do not use fashion tape. You may be liable for removal fees.
- Shipping
Postal rentals incur a $15 shipping fee.
Garments must be returned the next working day using the provided return bag.
Late returns will result in a $20 per day fee.
If you are requiring shipping to a rural address please book your dress 2 days in advance, or use a non rural address. Rural shipping will also be invoiced a $5.70 extra fee.
Please note that NZ Post does not operate on New Zealand public holidays. As a result, shipping and delivery timeframes may be extended during these periods.
While we will dispatch your order within our usual timeframe, Rent That Dress cannot be held responsible for delays caused by NZ Post, public holidays, adverse weather, or other courier-related disruptions that are outside of our control. We recommend booking your rental with sufficient time to allow for potential delays, particularly around long weekends and public holiday periods.
Refunds or compensation will not be provided for delivery delays resulting from these circumstances.
- Try on T&Cs
• A $20 booking fee is required to secure your 25-minute appointment. This is non-refundable and secures your time slot.
• Appointments are limited to 25 minutes. Please arrive on time, as late arrivals may result in a shortened session.
• You’re welcome to try on multiple dresses during your appointment.
• We cannot guarantee the availability of specific styles. If you have a particular dress in mind, let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to recommend a suitable time.
• To protect our garments, please do not wear makeup, fake tan, or any products that may transfer onto the dresses.
• Please take care when trying on all pieces. Any damage, staining, or excessive wear may incur a cleaning or repair fee.
• By booking a try-on, you agree to the above terms.
